A wrong price is worse than none
This site arranges inspections; it does not carry them out and it does not set the price. Any figure here would be a guess about somebody else’s pricing, presented with the authority of a calculator.
When an operator supplies real figures they will appear, and they will be theirs rather than ours.

Why does this not give me a price?
Because we have no figure we could stand behind, and we do not carry out the work. A number invented here would look authoritative and be worth nothing. What the tool does instead is show you what a real quote is built from.
What should I ask an electrician quoting me?
How many circuits they are pricing for, and whether the schedule of test results is included. Those two answers explain most of the difference between two quotes.
Is a bigger house always more expensive?
Not reliably. Circuit count and access drive the work, and they only loosely track floor area. A large open-plan house can be a smaller job than a small one that has been extended twice.
